Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
This policy explains how Trophy Shop UK (“we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal information when you visit trophyshopuk.com or buy from us. We are the data controller for this information. Contact us about anything in this policy at [email protected].
What we collect
- Details you give when ordering: your name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number (if you give it), and the engraving wording you enter.
- Your order history with us.
- Payment details: these are taken directly by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Messages you send us by email.
- Basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser, which our website and payment systems record for security and fraud prevention.
How we use it, and our legal reasons
- To take, make, engrave and deliver your order, and to send you order emails. This is necessary to carry out our contract with you.
- To deal with returns, refunds and questions. This is necessary for our contract with you.
- To keep records for tax and accounting. This is a legal obligation.
- To protect our shop and customers from fraud and misuse. This is in our legitimate interests.
We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have agreed to receive them.
Who we share it with
We only share what is needed, with companies that help us run the shop:
- Stripe, which processes card, Google Pay, Apple Pay and Klarna payments.
- Our website host, HostGator, which stores the website and its data.
- Delivery companies, which receive your name and delivery address so they can deliver your order.
- Our trophy supplier, where needed to fulfil your order.
Some of these companies may store data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legally approved safeguards to protect it.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies that are needed for it to work, for example to remember what is in your basket and to keep checkout secure. Stripe also uses cookies at checkout to prevent fraud. We do not use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for six years, as required for tax and accounting. We delete other information when we no longer need it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to limit how we use it, or object to how we use it. To do any of these, email [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
